Alas, I don't have a nifty musical intro like you did. Did you transcribe that yourself? One of these days I should at least do a video playing the Freakazoid melody. Nobody has done that on YouTube -- at least not accurately. There's one girl who tried but I think she was trying to work it out from memory. It's a tricky tune, so she had a lot of wrong notes.
Yes I did. I just played it by ear, and adapted it for a solo instrument. Sorry, I don't have any sheet music. :(. There wasn't any videos on youtube of anyone playing variety speak, so I decided I would. It took me about seven takes to get this one, so I sound very tired, but I kept fracking important notes in the other takes. I have a really good ear and a really good memory, so that always helps.
And I would love to hear your version of Freakazoid. :)
