I consider myself lucky to be just old enough to have been able to see a fair bit of Jonathan Winters on television growing up (besides his Mork & Mindy stint).
I love him also, though not in a way that some men might love a man.
It was just announced today that he's going to voice Papa Smurf in the upcoming Smurfs movie. Ideal casting choice, since Don Messick is no longer with us.
And I'm wondering how involved it would be to try getting the rights to distribute his '56 TV show on DVD. I'd like to see it released while he's still alive and kicking.
